Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Kay Fischer of California, Mrs. R. W. Olliff of Metter and Mrs. George Heaton of Savannah; four sons, Cecil and Richard Scarboro, both of Statesboro, John A. Scarboro of Pensacola, Fla., and Don Scarboro of Rocky Mountain, N.C.; and 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
The funeral service was held Monday, January 14, at 3 p.m. at Poplar Springs Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Hooks Mortuary of Metter is in charge of arrangements.
