Harold J. (Pete) Starkey, 61 of 47 North Jefferson Ave., died Thursday, July 13, 1967, at 10:45 p.m., in the Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh, following an illness of two years.
Mr. Starkey was born October 16, 1905, in Chester, West Va., the son of the late James A. Starkey, and Anna Johnson Starkey, who survives.
He last worked as a crane operator at the Fort Pitt Bridge Works. He was a member of the First Christian Church.
His wife, Charlotte Stopperich Starkey, died in 1949.
Surviving are his mother, two daughters, Ruth, wife of Donald Lacey, and Loraine, wife of Edward McDonald, both of Springfield, Va.; two sisters, Mrs. Eva Wolfe, Houston, and Mrs. Helen Bigler, Washington, and four grandsons.
