This fine tract of land was the residence of father and Mother Constable till 1887 when having persuaded that their full share of farm drugery had been done, they moved to Hillsboro. For fifty years lacking only a few weeks, has this estimable family been residents of this county. Besides her husband eight of her ten children survived her.

The deceased made a profession of the christian religion and joined the Baptist Church in 1848. During all these long years she has lived her profession, gaining the respect and love of all who in any way have been associated with her. Beside her immediate relatives she leaves a host of ftiends to mourn her death though it comes when years were heavy upon her.
Though in feeble health for several months, thelast severe illness was short, lasting only eight days.
The funeral exercises will be observed in the Baptist church, in the city tomorrow, Saturday at 11 oclock. after which the remains will be taken to West Union for supulture. The late date is fixed that the daughters from California may have time to reach Hillsboro.

Brazilla (Priscilla) ARTHUR was born April 7, 1822 in Washington County, Kentucky, the daughter of William Arthur and Millie Malone. She is seen in documents interchangeably as Priscilla and Brazilla. On December 1, 1836 she married Edward Constable in Jackson County, Missouri. In 1843 they joined family and friends to make the journey to the west. They settled in Washington County where they farmed and raised their family. Their children include: Mahala (1844), William (1845), Elizabeth (1846), Amanda Jane (1850), Richard (1852), Martha (1854), Mary (1856), Druscilla (1858), Melissa (1860) and Minerva Ann (1863). Priscilla died at Hillsboro October 11, 1893.
