CHILTON, Wis. -- William Kennedy, 81, died at a Manitowoc hospital early Friday morning after a week's illness. He had been in poor health for about a year.
Born on a farm in the town of Rantoul. he had spent his entire life there. In 1889 lie married Miss Catherine Grassey, who survives with one son, Gregory, at home; and three daughters, Della and Veronica, at home; and Sister Eva Marie, at the Silver Lake convent.
Funeral services will be held at St. Augustine's church at 9 o'clock Monday morning with the Rev. Henry Vande Castle officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
