Isaac Lofton, Jr. b. 1 Apr. 1784 in Cabarrus Co. N. C to Isaac Lofton Sr. and wife Mary ?. Isaac Jr. married, Judah, and moved to Mercer Co. Ky. in 1806. In 1810 moved to Indiana. He purchased land in Harrison Co. in 1810 and in Washington Co. Ind. in 1817. Their children: Enos, Eli, Saunders and Sarah. Isaac Jr. died in 1859 and was buried in his nephews, Simeon Lofton Graveyard in Posey T. Wash. Co, Ind. His wife was buried there too, date unknown.

Lofton:also Ira Lofton, to whom he left land in Harrison County He named as his daughters Sarah Birkler (SP?); Mary Gregg; and Keturah Voyles. Grandchildren named were Julie N. Wm G. or J. Sarah A. Robert A. Preston and Guston Lofton. His Will was proved in Harrison County on 22 Feb. 1859 by subscribing Witness, Elisha Wood.
