Isaac Lofton, Sr. was born in Frederick Co. Va. to Thomas Lofton, Jr. and wife Mary. Thomas died in 1752 and Mary married 2nd Nicholas Corzine, Sr 1753/54. The family moved to North Carolina. Isaac married Mary ? who died 1790/1800. Their children : William, Thomas, Isaac Jr Lofton and Mary Lofton Fogleman Seals. Isaac moved to Mercer Co. Ky and then to Indiana, where his children were living. He died in Harrison Co. Ind. on 10 Dec. 1813 Buried in Simeon Lofton Cemetery.
