Mrs. Mary Storms died at the Soldiers’ home Thursday evening at 6 o’clock, death being due to hardening of the arteries. She was born in North Carolina June 26, 1842, and entered the home in August, 1905, coming from Tippecanoe county. Four children survive; Mrs. Anna Koontz, of Indianapolis; T. W. Storms, Detroit, Mich.; C. H. Storms, Minnesota, and Mrs. Gertrude Hayden, Clark’s Hill. The body has been forwarded to Clarks Hill for interment. The funeral of Mrs. Mary Storms, who died at the Soldiers; home Thursday night, will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Hayden, of Clarks Hill. Burial in Stockwell cemetery. Mrs. Storms, widow of James A. Storms, was born in N.C. June 26 1842. She came to Indiana when 13 years of age with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Dodd. The trip was made in wagons.
