Paul Henry Rackers, 64, of 112 Vista Rd., died Friday morning at Charles E. Still Hospital after a long illness.
Mr. Rackers was born in Taos, June 1, 1911, son of John and Elizabeth Wekenborg Rackers. He was married May 1, 1939, to Frances Stiles, who survives.
He was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church, Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 1693 and a life member of the local painter’s union.
Other survivors include: two sons, Terry Rackers, 704 Belair Dr., Thomas Rackers, 815 Dan Dr.; Three brothers, Vincent Rackers, Phoenix, Ariz., Lee Rackers, 1122 Leslie Blvd., Ed Rackers, Russellville Road; one sister Mrs. Josephine Pleus, Route 3.
The rosary will be recited at 1:30 p.m. today at the Dulle Funeral Home.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Peters Catholic Church, with the Rev. John Prenger officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
