Ila Giles Naylor

Ila Giles Naylor, 64, of Springville, died Monday, Feb. 20, 1984, at the Mountain View Hospital in Payson, following an illness.

She was born March 13, 1919, in Heber City, to Orson Edwin and Gladys Ethel Tadd Giles. She married Marvin L. Naylor, Feb. 27, 1937, in Provo. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

She spent her life in Springville where she was educated. She was a member of the LDS Church and served as a teacher in the Sunday School, Primary and as a visiting teacher in the Relief Society. She had served as ward librarian. She was also a temple worker.

Survivors include her husband of Springville; one daughter, Mrs. Jim (La Rene) Peay of Springville, four grandchildren; sisters and brother, Mrs. Nello (Zella) Rowley, Mrs. Olive Noakes, Mrs. Wallace (Lottie) Gurr, Mrs. Eugene (La Wanna) Gurr and Mrs. Tadd (Mildred) Giles, all of Springville; Mrs. Dave (Audrey) Riches of Salem; Milton B. Giles, serving an LDS mission in Minnesota.

Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in the Springville North LDS Stake Center, 350 N. 400 E. Friends may call at the Wheeler Mortuary, 211 E. 200 S., Springville, Thursday, 7-9 p.m., or Friday 9:30-10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
