Bertha S. Larsen, 88, Sheridan, passed away Friday at her home in Sheridan. Mrs. Larsen was born March 10, 1904, at Dillon to Nels & Mary Smith Salmon¬sen. She was raised in the Dillon and Alder areas, where her family ranched. She at¬tended school at Ruby. She then worked at homes in Lima, Del1 and Alder until she married Chris Larsen March 11,1924, at Sheridan. He passed away in Septem¬ber of 1984. Following their marriage, they ranched south of Sheridan. Survivors include two sons add daughters-in-law, Chester & Maxine Larsen of Helena and Albert & Marian Larsen of Seattle; brother,. Nels of Virginia City; sisters, Martha Magnus of Sheridan and Anna Hunter of Burley, Idaho; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Graveside services are Thursday, May 28, at 2 p.m. at the Sheridan Cemetery with Rev. Jim Heikes officiating. -May 22, 1992
