Anna, born November 12, 1912 in Orenhofen, Germany, died peacefully March 7, 2004 in San Diego. Preceded in death by her husband, Ervin Eyler and infant daughter Anna May. Survived by brother, John Mack (Mildred), children, Joseph Eyler (Sandra); Maryann LaNew; Joann Buckman (Jerry); Elizabeth Eyler; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Anna lovingly devoted her life to family, friends, church and those less fortunate. Never outdone in generous loving spirit, she touched everyone ' s life in countless memorable ways. Her spirituality was incredibly powerful especially through devotion to Our Lady of the Rosary. We'll miss you dearly and we're so grateful for your awesome living example in our lives, dear Mother.
Memorial Mass is April 3, at 11 a.m. (Rosary at 10:30 a.m.) at St. Agnes Chruch, Point Loma, 1140 Evergreen St., San Diego, Ca 92106. Donations may be made in Anna's name to D.E.L.T.A. Rescue (Animals) P.O. Box 9, Glendale, Ca 92109. Published in San Diego Union-Tribune on March 30, 2004

Survivors include her daughters, Maryann LaNew of La Jolla, Joann Buckman of Fair Oaks and Elizabeth Eyler of San Diego; son, Joseph Eyler of Hollywood, Fla.; brother, John Mack of Chicago Ridge, Ill.; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Mass: 11 a.m. Saturday, St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1140 Evergreen St., San Diego. Donations: DELTA Rescue, P.O. Box 9, Glendale, CA 91209. Arrangements: Pacific Beach Chapel.
