Mrs. Emilie M. Lautenbach, 92, of 18 Grove Street, Plymouth, passed away at her home today, following a lengthy illness.
Nee Mieritz, she was born Aug 13, 1862 in Milwaukee, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Julius Miertz. On Nov. 13, 1884 she was married to Carl “Charles” Lautenbach in Milwaukee. They came to Plymouth following their marriage and operated thy Lyceum Hall in Plymouth for 65 years.
She was a member of the St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Plymouth.
Survivors include one son, Walter, of Milwaukee; three daughters, Miss Elsie and Mrs. Edna, both of Plymouth and Miss Ilma of Jackson, Mich.; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and one sister, Miss Julia Mueller of Milwaukee.
Her husband passed away in 1927. She was preceded in death by a son, Alvin and one sister.
Funeral services will be held at the Wittkopp Funeral home, Plymouth. The Rev. H. W. Baxmann will officiate, and burial will be made in the Union Cemetery.
