Funeral services for Miss Elsie Lautenbach, 80, who died Friday after a long illness, will be Monday at Wittkopp Funeral Home, the Rev. G. A. Karpensky, pastor of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, officiating.
Miss Lautenbach of 18 Grove St., Plymouth, was born on Jan. 8, 1890 in Plymouth, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lautenbach. She attended Plymouth public schools, and worked for 18 years at the E. A. Pieper Co. and at Clores Grocery in Plymouth.
For the past 12 years Miss Lautenbach was a tour chairman for Travel and Tour Services in Milwaukee, in which she organized and participated in group tours through U.S. and Europe.
She was a member of St. John Church and of its Valpo Guild. She also was active in its choir and Sunday School programs.
She was a member of the Plymouth and Sheboygan Garden Clubs, and a charter member of the Plymouth Women’s Club.
Surviving is a sister, Edna, Plymouth.
