Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home in Ava for Ivan L. "Buck" Fehriner, 51, of Jacob, who died Wednesday.
The Rev. Floyd Stephens of Gorham will officiate, with burial in Ava Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Fehringer died in Pinckneyville Community Hospital after a long illness.
He was born Dec. 25, 1919, in Jacob, the son of Charles L. and Chloe McBride Fehringer. He was married Jan. 4, 1941, in Jackson, Mo., to Lena Marshall.
Mr. Fehringer was a member of the Gorham Methodist Church, and Elks Lodge 572 in Murphysboro. He was a farmer.
Survivors include his wife; his mother, Mrs. Chloe Fehringer of Jacob; and daughters, Mrs. Thelma Mifflin of Jacob, Mrs. Opal Crain of Gorham,and Mrs. Charleene Becker of Evansville.
One brother and one sister preceded him in death.
