Wayne E. Carroll, 84, died February 20, 1993 at his home in West Valley, Born May 3, 1908 in the Mormon Colony of Pacheco, Chih, Mexico. Married Mary Westover on August 1, 1942 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

He worked in the mining industry, owned a real estate agency, and was a pipe organ technician for the LDS Church. He served a mission in the Southern States, served as stake mission president, and served in many other callings. He loved working in the Jordan River Temple and he loved his family.

Wayne leaves behind one son and three daughters and their spouses: Wallace W. (Linda), Littleton, Colo.; Joyce (Kent W. Mabey), West Jordan; Linda Sue (David Bowers), West Valley City; Kathleen (KayDon Jensen), Tacoma, Wash.; 25 grandchildren; one great-grandson; sister, Dollie Shipley, Ogden.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 11 a.m. at Taylorsville West Stake Center, 4505 South 3420 West. Friends may call Monday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and Tuesday at the church one hour prior to services. Interment, Lake Hills Memorial Park.
