" Ann Barnwell's actual first name was Martha; however,she went by her middle name, Ann. Her maiden name: Whitmire. She was born in Bright, Dawson County, Georgia. She died on March 27, 1935 in Montgomery, Montgomery County, Alabama." She married Daniel Floyd Barnwell in 1881.
