James M. Whitmire of 42 Bass Street died Tuesday night after a protracted illness. The funeral will take place Thursday morning at 10:30 o'clock from Patterson's chapel.

WHITMIRE - The friends and relatives of Mr. and Mrs. James M. Whitmire and family and Mr. and Mrs. S. P. Marbut and family are invited to attend the funeral of Mr. James M. Whitmire today [Thursday] at 10:30 a.m. from the chapel of H. M. Patterson & Son. The following named gentlemen will please act as pallbearers and meet at the chapel at 10:15 a.m.: Mr. Geo. B. Beauchamp, Mr. R. Lovett, Mr. J. P. Nash, Mr. J. W. Masseling, Mr. F. S. Fechter, Mr. W. H. Neighbors.

MEETING NOTICE: To the chiefs and members of Comanche Tribe, No. 6, Improved Order of Red Men, you are requested to meet at the wigwam, 86 Central avenue Thursday, September 2, at 9 a.m. for the purpose of attending the funeral of our deceased brother, J. M. Whitmire.
Members of other tribes invited.
Interment at West View.
Fraternally in F. F. and C. H. H. Burke, Sachem.
