Mr. Randall Trenton "Randy" Taylor, 49, died Friday morning (September 16, 2005) at his residence following a short illness.

He was a native and lifelong resident of Waycross. He was a son to the late Jimmy Trenton Taylor. He was a former assistant department head for King Edward Cigar Factory before working at General Housing.

The survivors include three daughters, Alesha Perritt (husband Tommy) and Jenny Guy (husband Johnny) both of Waycross, and Melissa Cox (husband Timmy) of Blackshear; two sons, James Taylor and Mathew Taylor both of Waycross; five grandchildren; his mother, Gladys Minix of Waycross; two brothers, Kenny Taylor (wife Donna) and Greg Taylor both of Waycross; two step brothers, Wendell Minix (wife Cindy) and Stephen Minix (wife Donna) both of Waycross; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday (September 18, 2005) at Hebardville Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Kettle Creek Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at Mr. Taylor's daughters residence, 2055 Brogdon Rd., Waycross, GA 31501 Saturday night from 6 until 9 o'clock.
