Frank C. Hughes, 74, died Monday at Kittitas Valley Community Hospital. Born August 21, 1897 at Caney, Kansas, he came to Ellensburg form Winlock, Wash., as a young man. He was married to Rose Vandenberg, September 15, 1924 at Ellensburg. Hughes was a member of the Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife Rose at the family home; one daughter, Mrs. Jeannette Myers of Seattle, two grandsons and two great granddaughters; two brothers, William Hughes of Ellensburg and Paul Hughes of San Diego, California; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Wheeler and Mrs. Florence Carpenter, both of Ellensburg.
Requiem Mass is Friday, 11 a.m., St. Andrews Catholic Church. Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery.
