Mrs. Myrtle E. (Hughes) Leathers, 60, died at the Ellensburg General Hospital, Saturday, one day after she had suffered a stroke. She had been living in recent weeks with a niece, Mrs. D. B. Hall of South Cle Elum. A native of Oklahoma, Mrs. Leathers came here in 1912 with her family. Since that time, she had resided in Seattle and Winlock.

Surviving relatives include three step-children, Sam Leathers of Bellingham and Mrs. Charlotte Aspland and Mrs. Phyllis Jones, both of Winlock; her step-mother, Mrs. Katie Hughes of Ellensburg; four sisters, Mrs. Florence Carpenter of Seattle, Mrs. Lula Arnold of San Diego, and Mrs. Lena Des Voigne and Mrs. Anna Wheeler, both of Ellensburg; three brothers, William and Frank Hughes, both of Ellensburg, and Paul Hughes of Seattle; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Honeycutt-Evenson Chapel with the Rev. T. M. Pyle officiating. Interment will follow at the IOOF Cemetery.
