Services for Otto Whittenburg, 73, who died at 3:45pm Monday, October 21, at Cox Medical Center, Springfield, after an illness of one week, were held at 2pm, Wednesday, October 23, at Morris-Leiman Chapel here. The Rev Roy Gray officiated. Burial was in Round Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Whittenburg was born October 10, 1901, in the State of Missouri. He was a member of the Round Grove Baptist Church and was a retired employee of the Missouri State Chest Hospital, Mt Vernon.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Velma Whittenburg, and a brother, Edwin Whittenburg, Miller.
