"Celia" was the third of five children born to Frank & Anna Mary (Mehr) Braun.

Grandson, Bruce Merchant shared: "She went to Saint Benedict's College (Saint Joseph, MN.) Following her marriage she and Olaf lived with Anna Braun for a time and built the 8th Street house in the 1920's. My mother and I (& my siblings) lived with her in Wahpeton on several occasions, the longest being 18 months at the end of WW-II when my dad was drafted and sent to Europe.

"In the late fifties, my parents moved her to their house in Wauwatosa, WI and she stayed with them until her death. Her later years were spent in a nursing home and she died of natural causes.
"

On 12 January 1912, Cecelia married Oluf Martin Olson at Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Wahpeton, ND; they were both age 25. Oluf was the oldest of seven children born to Tosten & Marie (Kevnyberg) Olson.

A homemaker & mother of two; before she married Celia was a saleslady at a general mercantile; she died on 31 October 1976 at a nursing home in West Allis, WI at age 89.
