Mrs. Emory C. Clingerman
Bertha Irene (Boor) Clingerman, wife of Emory C. Clingerman, died at her late home, 27 Brent Street, Hancock, MD, on Tuesday evening, April 16, 1957, after several days illness at the age of 77.
Born in Buck Valley, PA, she was the daughter of the late Michael Miller and Mary Jane (Divelbiss) Boor, of Fulton County, PA.
She was a member of the Fairview Christian Church at Artemas, PA.
Besides her husband, she is survived by the following children: daughter, Mrs. Fred T. McIntruff, of Hancock, sons, Clyde A., of Library, PA, Fred R., of Hancock, J. Leo, of Cherry Run, and Huber E., of Warfordsburg; a sister, Mrs. Clay Clingerman, of Stoneboro, PA, brothers Barton Fillmore Boor, of Hancock, and George Egbert Boor, of Woodbury, PA, also 15 grandchildren.
Services were held Saturday morning at 10:30 from Fairview Christian Church, Artemas, PA, with the Reverends' Clarence Peachy and Walter Twigg officiating. Interment in the church cemetery.
