Daniel Petty Robbins, a twin, was born January 25, 1891. He was called Pet and grew up in Ferris, Texas, later living in Dallas with his parents. He enlisted in WWI and during the war was married to Myrtle May Brown. They were stationed in Beaumont, Tx, and then he was transferred to California where he died in service during the influenza epidemic October 18, 1918. His body was returned by the Government and given a military funeral in Trinity Valley Cemetery, Wilmer, Texas. His grave marker was blown away by a tornado thta struck the cemetery a few years later. Pet and Myrtle had no children.

ROBBINS - Daniel Petty Robbins of Dalals, died at San Francisco Oct 28 [1918] and will be buried at Wilmer, Texas, tomorrow afternoon. The funeral service to be held at the residence of his parents, Mr and Mrs E B Robbins, 233 South Lancaster Avenue. Mr Robbins volunteered for service with the American forces several months ago and was placed in the ship-building industry at San Francisco. He was 27 yers old. He is survived by his wife, who was Miss Myrtle May Brown of Port Arthur, Texas; his parents, Mr and Mrs E B Robbins, 233 South Lancaster Avenue, Oak Cliff; four brothers, Willard B of San Antonio; Thomas C of Love Field, Dallas; Edgar R of Navy Station at San Pedro, Cal.; E B Jr. of Dallas, and one sister Mary, of Dallas. He is a nephew of Mrs George W Owens of Oak Cliff.
