Beloit Daily Call, Monday, March 19, 1962, page 4:
Mrs. George H. Bardrick

On April 22, 1876, Olive Branch was born, daughter of Charles H. and Anna E. (Shere) Branch, near Minneapolis, in Ottawa county, Ks. Here, she was educated. She left her home in Minneapolis to start her married life in Beloit following her marriage to Geo. H. Bardrick on Oct. 6, 1909, at her parents' home. To this union were born two daughters, Louise (Mrs. Frank Creitz) and Harriet.
Her death occurred at 2:35 p.m., March 15, 1962, at the Community hospital, Beloit, following a short illness, though her health had been failing gradually the last several years. Had she lived a short time longer she would have observed Easter Sunday as her 86th birthday.

Mrs. Bardrick was a participating member of the Beloit First Methodist Church. She enjoyed her activities in the WSCS and the Friendship Class. She was honored in 1960 as a 50-year member of the Eastern Star by the Naomi Chapter and enjoyed her associations in the Past matrons' Club of that order. Her interest in the Minerva Club was great and active. She had been one of their first initiates. As long as she was able, she helped with the activities of the Hope-U-Well hospital Twig, now known as a club.

Oliver Bardrick was pre-deceased by her parents, three sisters and one brother. Surviving relatives include her husband, two daughters, two beloved grandchildren, and a niece, Mrs. Helen Gifford, Glendora, Calif.

A memorial service based on First Corinthians, Chapter 13 was conducted at McDonald's Chapel, Saturday morning, March 17, by Rev. Elmer L. Brooks. Mrs. Roy Baker assisted at the organ. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery, Topeka, Ks., where a short graveside service was offered by Rev. Baumgartner, Topeka. Mr. and Mrs. Oscar White accompanied the family group to Topeka.

Out of town relatives here for the services were Harriet Bardrick, Chicago, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Creitz and Conrad Creitz, Highland, Ill.; and Roxanna Creitz, Cottey College, Nevada, Mo.
