ELMER JACOB WOLFF
Elmer was the son of Reuben Wolff and his second wife Katherine. His half siblings included; Henry, Katherine C., Sarah Ellen, Emma, Agnes, Edward and Clara.

Elmer married Anna Lundberg, daughter of Christina (Johnson) and Andrew Lundberg and to this union was born three children; Harry E, Kate and Boyd Everett.

Elmer's father, Reuben Wolff had moved his family to Bald Bluff in Henderson County around 1880 when Elmer was about 6 years old. In 1900 Elmer and his family are still living in Bald Bluff and he is engaged in Farming. Frank Hall, a farm larborer is also living with Elmer and his family.

By the 1910 census Anna is no longer living with her husdand and children, she's listed as patient in a state mental hospital in East Moline. Her death records indicate that she died at the hospital in 1920. In 1910 Elmer is living in Abington with his youngest son and older brother. (NOTE: There is also a son, Bernice age 8 listed on the census records for 1910, but this is the only time I see him named?)

In 1920 and 1930 Elmer and his son Harry are living and farming together. In 1930 a 38 year old servant named Alida Rieder is also living with them.

Elmer died in 1947 at the age of 73. He is buried in Greenmound Cemetery with his parents, sister Clara and wife Anna.
