Appolone M. "Bunny" Troje passed away March 23, 2007 in St. Paul, MN at the age of 89. She was preceded in death by husband, Frank Troje Sr. on September 15, 1989; 4 brothers – Edmund, Joseph M. Arthur and Henry Schoenberg; and 5 sisters – Lena Neubauer, Irma Athman, Mary Muehe, Armella Gerding and Dorothy Benolken.
Appolone Schoenberg was born November 2, 1917 in Spring Hill Township in Stearns County, Minnesota. She was the 7th of the 11 children born to Charles and Mary (Pung) Schoenberg. She grew up on the family farm 2 miles north of the village of Spring Hill, MN.
Appolone Troje is survived by her children, Patricia Troje, Marjorie (Robert) Brustad, Frank (Pat) Troje, Steve (Kathy) Troje, Mark (Barb) Troje; 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; special niece, Donna (Jim) Duffy & children; sister, Alice (Pete) Williams of St. Paul.
Appolone was a lifelong member of St. Matthew Catholic Church & Rosary Society. A special thank you to Woodlyn Heights Care Facility & Healtheast Hospice for their exceptional support & care.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, March 29, 2007 at 10 AM at the Church of St. Matthew, corner of Hall & Robie. Visitation from 9-10 AM at church. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Mendota Heights, MN. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
