Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Boniface Catholic Church for Arthur W. Schoenberg, 84, who died Monday, January 4, 1999 at his home in Cold Spring, MN. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. Wednesday at Wenner Funeral Home. A St. Joseph Men's Society rosary will be at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home in Cold Spring followed by a Catholic Aid rosary at 7 and parish prayers at 8.

Arthur Schoenberg was born in Spring Hill to Charles and Mary (Pung) Schoenberg. He married Esther Loehr on June 9, 1941, in St. Michael's Catholic Church, Spring Hill. The couple farmed in the Spring Hill area until 1960, when they moved to Cold Spring. He then worked for Cold Spring Granite Co. before his retirement in 1985. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, St. Joseph Men's Society and Catholic Aid.

Survivors include his wife; Esther; daughters and sons, Carol Crane of Anoka, Sharon Timp of Albany, Ruth of St. Cloud, Allen of Coon Rapids, and Earl of Sartell; brother and sisters, Joseph of Paynesville, Lena Neubauer of Spring Hill, Erma Athmann of Rockville, Mary Meuhe of Texas City, Texas, and Apollonia "Bunnie" Troje and Alice Williams of St. Paul; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles (1971) and Mary(1970); brothers and sisters, Edmund, Henry, Armella Gerding and Dorothy Benolken.
