Alice C. Williams gracefully passed into our Lord's loving arms, surrounded by family on Dec. 22, 2013.
Alice Schoenberg was born on December 6, 1920 in Spring Hill, Minnesota. She was the 9th of the 11 children born to Charles and Mary (Pung) Schoenberg.
Alice Williams was preceded in death but reunited with her beloved husband of 63 years, Pete Williams; her parents; 4 brothers – Edmund, Joseph M. Arthur and Henry Schoenberg; and 6 sisters – Lena Neubauer, Irma Athman, Mary Muehe, Appolone Troje, Armella Gerding and Dorothy Benolken. She was the last of the 11 siblings to pass on.
She will be so greatly missed by son, Ken (Mary Sue) Williams; daughters, Pam (Jeff) Sandberg, Deb (Merv) Henslin, Michelle (Bruce) Sherritt; 14 loving grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
Also Godchildren, nieces and nephews, in-laws, family and friends that were all special to Alice and Pete. Until we see you and Papa again Mimi, we love you both forever and always.
Mass of Christian Burial 5PM, Friday Dec. 27, with visitation 2-5PM at Presentation of BVM, 1725 Kennard St., Maplewood. Dinner to follow Mass. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Monday Dec. 30, friends may gather in assembly area #6 at 11:35 AM at Ft. Snelling Cemetery. Arr. Chapel Funeral Providers.
