Iron Springs Man Dies on Tuesday
William Walter Warnock of Iron Springs, who came to Canada in 1902, died suddenly Tuesday in Iron Springs at the age of 63.
Mr. Warnock was born in Lacrosse, Wis. and moved to the Barons district in 1905. In 1925 he moved to Iron Springs. He was one of the first members of the Rural Electrification Association at Iron Springs and Turin.
He was a ditch rider for 13 years for the Lethbridge Northern Irrigation District before taking up farming. Mr. Warnock was an honorary member of the Beet Growers Association for 25 years, Royal Canadian Legion and the Turin Mutual Telephone Co.
Interment will be in Huntsville Cemetery, Iron Springs, at 3:45 p.m. Martin Bros. Ltd. is in charge of arrangements.
