MORGAN, CHARLES JAMES, 49, of 2205 Cushman Street, a veteran of World War II, died in a local hospital Saturday morning. He was a member of Lake Way Baptist Church. Mr. Morgan was a machine operator at the Stanley-Judd Division. His survivors include his wife, Mrs. Betty Ruth Roberts Morgan; two sons, Rickie Eugene Morgan and Ronald Edward Morgan, all of Chattanooga; one sister, Mrs., Kathleen McDaniel, Harrison, Tenn., and a brother, Rufus Morgan of Harrison, Funeral Services will be held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at Lake Way Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Bill Worley, the Rev. Buddy Lewis and the Rev. James Malone. Interment will be in the McDonald Cemetery on Snow Hill Road. Active pallbearers: Bill Oliver, David Stokes, Gene Nichol, James Dill, C.L. McDaniel, Harding Lackey and Henry Blair. Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of the Stanley-Judd Division. The body is at the home of Mrs. James Cantrell on Shirley Pond Road, Harrison, Tenn. Funeral arrangements are in charge of J. Avery Bryan.
