William Price "Bill" Branscome, 69, of Rt. V Draper, died early Sunday morning in the Pulaski Community Hospital

Born July 28, 1920 in Rockbridge County, Virginia, he was the son of the late Holbert Branscome and Ada Quesenberry Branscome.

He was a retired supervisor for the Pulaski Furniture Corporation, Pulaski.

He was a World War II Veteran serving in the United States Army, a member of the American Legion, Post #7, Pulaski, and also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post #1184, Pulaski.

Surviving are his wife, Edna Rupe Branscome; one son, Michael Branscome of Pulaski; one daughter, Mrs. Stephen (Marjorie) White, of Ormond Beach, Fla; one sister, Lilly Branscome of Pulaski; three grandsons. Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, at 11 a.m. from the Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski, with the Rev. Earnest Chinault officiating. Interment will follow in the Duncan Family Cemetery, Draper. Visiting will be after 12 noon Tuesday with the family receiving friends from 7 to 9 Tuesday evening at the Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski. The family will be meeting at the residence of the son, Michael Branscome, 204 Lake Street, Pulaski. Bower Funeral Chapel, 1631 Bob White Boulevard, Pulaski, is handling the arrangements.
