Mrs. Orville Adams, 30, 105 Lyman Street, East Kingsford, Michigan, was fatally injured & her husband & another man, Walter McMahon, 27, Marquette, Michigan, were critically injured in an accident yesterday on US Hwy 2, a short distance from Abrams. Mrs. Adams died yesterday after in the Oconto hospital. She received a skull fracture, jaw fracture, chest injuries, her left leg was almost severed when it caught between the gear shift lever & instrument board of the car. McMahon was driving the car & heading south. Tracks in the snow indicated that the car 1st skidded to the right, then swerved to the left & crashed head-on into a cement culvert. The impact drove the engine back into the front seat, where Mrs. Adams was sitting between the 2 men. Mrs. Adams is the former Florence Beekman, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Anton Beekman, Oconto.
