The Rev. David Woodson Morris, minister of the Missionary Baptist Church, died Tuesday at his home, Route 1, Box 426E. He was 64. He came to Albuquerque four months ago from Lubbock, Texas.
The body will be taken to Lubbock today for funeral services Friday afternoon at the Calvary Baptist Church.
The Rev. Morris is survived by his wife, Mrs.Mae Morris; a son, Clifton, both of Albuquerque; two brothers, W.G.B. Morris of Amber, Oklahoma and Elijah Morris, Chickasha, Oklahoma; two sisters, Mrs. Currie Edgar, Vernon, Texas and Mrs. Elizabeth Carter, Gruver, Texas.
Strong-Thorne Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
