Marjorie was born in Hersey, Michigan, the daughter of Gordon and Lulu (Ingersoll) Dewitt. She married Elmore J. Rickert II in 1939 and he preceded her in death in 1949. She had been a member of the Montrose United Methodist Church, loved gardening and sewing. Survivors include sons, William E. (Linda) Rickert of Swartz Creek, E. John (Sue) Rickert of CA, daughter, Barbara (Jim) Johnson of CA, six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers.
