Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 29, at Warrensburg United Methodist Church, with visitation one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be at Illini Cemetery, Warrensburg. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Homes, Decatur, are assisting the family with the arrangements.

Betty was born April 11, 1926, in Warrensburg, IL, the daughter of Clarence M. and Angie B. (Brumett) Binkley. She married Donald E. Howe on August 27, 1946, in Bearsdale, IL
Betty was a member of Warrensburg United Methodist Church and was a 56 year member of Warrensburg Eastern Star, Illini Chapter 813. She was a federal employee for 24 years and served as Postmaster in Warrensburg. She was a lifelong resident of Warrensburg and was Class of ‘44 Valedictorian at Warrensburg High School. Betty loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed reading.
Surviving are her husband of 65 years, Donald of Warrensburg, IL; sons Dan (Gloria) Howe of Latham, IL and Terry (Cindy) Howe of Warrensburg, IL; grandchildren Darcy, Taffy, Laura, Rebecca; and great-grandchildren Bradley and Kara.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and one sister.
