WARRENSBURG - Mary P. Brown 86, of Warrensburg, passed away at 11:40 p.m., Friday, August 21, 2009, in McKinley Court Nursing Home. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 25, 2009, at Dawson & Wikoff West Wood Street Funeral Home. Burial will be in Illini Cemetery, Warrensburg. Visitation will be from 5:00p.m. to8:00p.m., Monday evening at Dawson & Wikoff West Wood Street Funeral Home. Mrs. Brown was born August 7, 1923, in Warrensburg, IL, the daughter of Clarence and Angie (Brumett) Binkley. She married Delbert L. Brown on June 29, 1946. He preceded her in death on April 12, 1992. She was a member of the Warrensburg United Methodist Church and was active with the United Methodist Women's Group at the church. She was a former member of the Sweet Adeline's. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinal baseball fan and enjoyed NASCAR racing cheering for Jimmy Johnson. Surviving are her children: Michael Brown and his wife Glenda of Plant City, FL, Diana Koehler and her husband Tom of Warrensburg, Mary Lou Finch and Walt Stringham of Tarpon Springs, FL, Penny Miller and her husband Mike of Decatur, and Julie Reynolds and her husband Ron of Decatur; Very Best Friend: Tom Coffman of Decatur; sister: Betty Howe and her husband Don of Warrensburg; twelve grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren also survive.
