Mary Emaline Watson, daughter of the late Columbus Marshall Francis and Evaline Porter (King) Francis, was born June 13, 1900 at West Plains, MO. She entered into eternal rest November 29, 1991 at the age of ninety-one years.
She received her education at the Elk Creek School. On July 11, 1920 she married at Elk Creek community to Paul Edgar Watson, who preceded her death on Oct. 3, 1976.
Mrs. Watson is survived by two daughters, Pauline Powell, Kansas City, KS; and Darleen Mosby and husband, Harold, Raytown, MO; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Mattie House, Phoenix, AZ; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one sister, Savannah Redburn; four brothers, Franklin Francis; Harmon Francis; Trustin Francis; and Troy Francis; two half-sisters, Rhoda Willard-Matney and Fannie Edson-Harper, and three half-brothers, Peter Francis; Henry Highfill; and Wes Highfill.
Mrs. Watson was of the Baptist faith with her membership in the First Freewill Baptist Church of West Plains, MO.
