Paul Edgar Watson, son of the late John B. and Louella Balch Watson was born near West Plains, MO Sept. 5th, 1891. He enterred into eternal rest Oct. 3rd, 1976, at the age of 85 years.
On July 11th, 1920, he was married at West Plains, MO to Mary E. Francis, who survives him, as do two daughters.
Mr. Watson was a veteran of World War I, having served with Co. B, 70th Infantry in the U.S. Army during that conflict.
He was a member of the American Legion Post at West Plains.
He was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife; and daughters, Mrs. Pauline Powell of Overland Park, KS; and Mrs. Darleen Mosby of Raytown, MO. There are eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildlren surviving, as do two half-brothers and one half-sister, who are Dee Watson. Independence, KS; George Watson, Independence, KS; and Amanda Martin, Ottawa, KS.
Preceding Mr. Watson in death are his parents; three brothers and one sister.
