Melville E. Bowley passed away at his home in Kingman Saturday evening, Jan. 28th. Mr. Bowley had been in poor health for many years, and had been confined to his bed for over four years. During all has illness he was tenderly cared for by his faithful wife, Mary E. Bowley who was untiring in her patient ministrations for all his needs. the deceased was 71 years, 9 months and 11 days of age, and was born in Macwahoc where his whole life was spent until coming to this town about seven years ago. Besides his widow he is survived by two daughters, Mildred of Chester, Bessie of Mattawamkeag and two sons, Ralph of Massachusetts and Chester of Connecticut. Funeral services were held in the M. E. Church Tuesday, Jan. 41st, Rev. Manuel Snow officiating. Interment was in the Kingman cemetery.
