MATTAWAMKEAG, Oct. 23 - Mildred A. Jordan, 63, died Saturday at a Bangor hospital after a long illness. She was born at Macwahoc December 14, 1896, daughter of Melvin and Mary Cole Bowley. She is survived by her husband Eugene Jordan of Mattawamkeag; three daughters, Mrs. Frances Savage of Chester, Mrs. Agnes Skidgell of Santiege, Calif., Mrs. Mary Waite of East Millinocket; a son, Winfield of Mattawamkeag; a sister, Mrs. Bessie Knights, of Bangor; two brothers, Ralph Bowley of Milford, Mass., and Chester Bowley of New Orleans, La., 20 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at the Barton Funeral Home, Lincoln, Wednesday at 2 o'clock. Friends may call at the Funeral Home.
