Graveside services for Mr. Pleas Hobbs, 82, of Fayetteville will be this morning at 10 a.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Lewis Johnson officiating. Higgins Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hobbs died Monday afternoon at the Lincoln Regional Hospital after a long illness.
A native of Lincoln County, he was the son of the late David Franklin and Mary Kelso Hobbs. Mr. Hobbs was a retired employee of the U.S. Postal Service and a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lucille Hiller Hobbs; one daughter, Mrs. Hiller Hobbs Strauss of St. Louis, Mo.; and two grandchildren.
