He was a safety inspector for the Department of Labor for 25 years, retiring in 1980. He was a past president of North Powell Little League. His wife, Leona, died in 1988.
Surviving are his 2 sons and a daughter; sisters, Henrietta Rose and Rosemary Curling, both of Grants Pass; and one grandchild.
Disposition was by cremation. The family suggests remembrances to the American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.
