A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, 1996, in Ross Hollywood Chapel for Roy Mann, who died April 13 at age 74.
Mr. Mann was born July 21, 1921, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He moved to Portland in 1962. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and worked as a machinist. He was a safety inspector for the Department of Labor for 25 years, retiring in 1980. He was a past president of North Powell Little League. His wife, Leona, died in 1988.
Surviving are his 2 sons and a daughter; sisters, Henrietta Rose and Rosemary Curling, both of Grants Pass; and one grandchild.
Disposition was by cremation. The family suggests remembrances to the American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.
