Maria, a high school and college graduate married James Pollock Tingle in 1923. Upon their retirement in the early 1960s they returned to live in the Ervintown area of Richlands. They had no children.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James, in 1970, by an infant sister, born and died in 1902. Maria left this life in November 1976.
