Romea Curtis Alford

Romea Curtis Alford, 76, of South Charleston died Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011, at Valley Health Center after a long illness.
He was the owner-operator of Alford Swimming Pools, South Charleston. He attended Maranatha Fellowship, St. Albans.

Survivors include a son, Tony C. (Sharon) Alford of St. Albans; daughter, Reva Louise (Keith) Shealy of Greenville, S.C.; brother, Junior (Peggy) Alford of South Charleston; five grandchildren, Chris (Cami) Alford, Melisa (Larry) Alford and Ross, Rocky and Renee Lewis; and three great-grandchildren, Jaylon Abbott, Caleb Alford and Trenton Lewis.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 24, at Curry Funeral Home, 2097 Childress Road, Alum Creek, with Pastor Terry Hogue officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston.

Friends and family will gather from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
