Charles H. Davis, 84, of West Fork, died August 26, in a Fayetteville nursing home. He was a retired farmer, born Feb.18, 1886 in Huntsville, the son of Elijah and Susie Boatright Davis.
He is survived by the widow Mrs. Deville Counts Davis of the home; one son, W. F. (Bill) Davis of Sacramento, Calif., and four half-sisters, Mrs. Ida Gabbard and Mrs. Jewel Hudson, both of Fayetteville, Mrs. Nancy Bushman and Mrs. Maggie Roseberry,both of Washington state.
Funeral arrangements were under direction of Nelson's Funeral Home.
