The funeral of Burton T Page, a former prominent resident of Palmyra and Dixon, whose death in St Paul on February 1, 1932 was announced in The Telegraph, was held in St Paul Thursday, with interment in Roselawn cemetery.
Mr. Page, who will be affectionately remembered by many of the older residents of the community, was born in Palmyra township, June 24, 1865, and for fourteen years was superintendent of the Anglo-Swiss Condensed Milk Company plant in Dixon, which was established by the Page Brothers and which later became the property of the Borden Company.
He is survived by his widow, Gertrude E Cropsey Page, and four children, Miriam Page Royce, John Hunt Page, Herbert Cropsey Page and Gertrude Page and four grandchildren.
The Page family was among the most honored in the community and many friends here will unite in sympathy to the bereaved ones.
