John Ham Page, was the son of David Copp and Sarah Ham Page. He married, first, Julia Maria Fellows, 26 Dec 1833, in NH; she was the daughter of Stephen N. and Margaret McGaffey Fellows. John and Julia migrated to Palmyra Twp., Lee County, IL, in the Fall of 1834, with Stephen N. Fellows. They had seven boys and one girl. John married, second, December 29, 1856, Lee County, IL, Mrs. Sarah Berry Jenness Wiggin. Sarah and John also lived at Palmyra Twp., near Dixon, IL, and had six children. In the late 1860's, John Ham Page sold his land holdings at Palmyra and two sons, from the first marriage, founded the Anglo-Swiss Condensed Milk Company, at Cham, Switzerland. The Anglo Swiss Condensed Milk Co. is, today, merged with Nestle. John and Sarah moved to Menlo, Guthrie County, IA, where John's daughter, Julia Maria Page, and her husband, James W. Harris, lived, and farmed.
