Frances C. Belieu, 79, a former Mabton resident, died Sunday in the Yakima Convalescent Center. Born in Chadwick, Missouri, where she received her education. Mrs Belieu later moved with her parents to Ahtanum, where they lived until moving to farm in the Mabton area. In 1926, she married Clyde Belieu, who died July 1, 1946. Mrs Belieu lived in Mabton until 1952 when she moved to Yakima. Mrs Belieu lived at the Yakima Convalescent Center for two and one half years. She was preceeded in death by two daughters, Alice, in 1927, and Esther in 1973. Mrs Belieu is survived by five sons, Jesse Belieu of Hansen, Idaho; Albert Belieu of Sunnyside, and Harry, Marvin and Dean Belieu all of Yakima; three daughters, Mrs Cleone Berry of Mabton and Mrs Mary Acevedo and Mrs Marian Leonard, both of Yakima; one sister, Nellie Brown of Richland; one brother, Melvin Nance of Yakima; 40 grandchildren, and 32 great-grandchildren.
