Gracie Evelyn Lampkin Aaron, 83, of Redfield, died Friday, Oct. 14, 2011.
She was born Sept. 15, 1928, in Pittsburg County, Okla., the daughter of the late James Lampkin and Eunice Green Lampkin.

She was employed for a time at Burris/Redfield Grocery, but was homemaker first and foremost. Her pastimes included cooking, quilting, painting, and spoiling grandchildren.
In addition to her parents.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Bert Aaron, to whom she was married March 30, 1946, at Little Rock; daughters, Carolyn Ashmead (Bill), of Sheridan, Jeannie Kennedy, of Redfield, and Debbie Stacks (Roger), also of Redfield; five grandchildren, Lorna, Jason, Keith, Nathan, and Nicole; seven great-grandchildren; seven brothers; and many other loving family and friends.

Funeral services will be Monday, 2 p.m., at the River Road Church of God, with Brother John Threat and Brother Bobby Matthews officiating.

Burial will follow in Redfield Cemetery by Fuller Hale-South Funeral Services.
